On Normal, there’s no puzzle assistance, and enemies are at their default strength. Normal difficulty proves to be a decent challenge in Immortals Fenyx Rising, especially at the start of the game. On the whole, Easy difficulty is great for those who are new to the genre. On top of that, players will take fall damage, though it is halved, and there’s less assistance when it comes to puzzles. Also, outside of combat, only one chunk of health will be regenerated. On Easy, enemies are weaker than they are on Normal, but stronger than they are on Story. The next-step up is easy, which is suitable for players who don’t want to be overly challenged but don’t want the game to be a walk in the park, either. You can go wherever you want and do whatever you want without too much trouble. Basically it makes Immortals Fenyx Rising a very easy-going affair. They’ll also find that they don’t suffer damage from falls, and will be assisted when taking on the game’s many puzzles. Those playing on Story difficulty will face enemies at their weakest, and find that their health can fully regenerate outside of combat. Story difficulty is for those who want to breeze through the game, enjoying the story first and foremost. The difficulties available from the outset are Story, Easy, Normal, and Hard. And so, you might be left wondering which one you should choose.Īt the outset, there are four difficulty options to choose from in Immortals Fenyx Rising, with a fifth unlockable by completing the game on any other difficulty setting. Like most games, when starting Immortals Fenyx Rising for the first time you’ll be presented with a difficulty select option.
